Serenity Stay North Lakes

A good apartment - but it could be excellent! Positive: It is a spacious apartment in a large apartment complex in North Lakes. It is completely self-contained with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs and living area downstairs. Another toilet is situated downstairs in the laundry. It has a good kitchen, dining, and lounge area and all the things you would expect in an apartment. Good fridge, Smart TV and aircond. It is close to shops for food and groceries and 10 mins to North Lakes main shopping centre. There is parking in the garage for one car and driveway space for a second car. The check-in process was good with a coded lock box for the entry keys. Communication with the apartment manager was good. We would definitely stay again. Negative: We didn't like being provided with a contract to sign two days before arrival - after we had already paid. The contract should be provided before reservation and payment. Other little things could have been better. Like many rental apartments, the owners don't seem to have lived there, so some things provided were only just adequate. If you were staying a few days, the pots and pans provided were limited - you would not want to be cooking for 6. Also, champagne glasses were provided, but no wine glasses?? There was no bbq for outdoor cooking or outdoor dining furniture. It was unseasonably cold when we were there, and no spare blankets were available. We had to leave the air cond on one night and request some the next day. Thankfully, spares were delivered promptly on request. Other little things were - soaps and toiletries had been used by previous occupants.Also, for a five day stay, you would expect some spare clean bath towels. Whilst there was nothing that would stop us from staying again - those little things make a difference to the rating between good and excellent.

It was great, the communication was great, location was great for us as it was 20-30 mins away to a lot of places. The p Positive: It felt like a home away home. It was perfect for my family of 5. The neighbourhood was so quiet, which was a bonus. It’s a great little location to a lot of things and the city & other areas.

Beautiful unit, great location, affordable and highly recommend! Positive: Was a fantastic apartment, would highly recommend. Easy to obtain keys and lock up, close to everything. Comfortable and relaxing environment. Good pricing. We would stay there again definitely. Negative: There wasn't a toaster or dryer. Ants are a bit of a problem and some parts a little dusty (but I suffer allergies, so wouldn't affect normal people). Otherwise, cannot fault!

Comfortable stay in good location. Positive: Place was big enough for a family of 6. The little amenities were good. The place was comfortable. The back door did not lock but was fixed the next day. The ensuite shower was like a tap and not great. The location was great and we enjoyed our stay.
